Edmilson played alongside Samuel Eto'o, Ronaldinho and Thierry Henry during his time at Camp Nou between 2004 and 2008, but feels they have never had an attack quite as potent as their current line up. 

Edmilson then went on to discuss Barcelona's Copa del Rey tie with another of his old clubs, Villarreal, and warned that Marcelino's men should not be underestimated.

"If Barca have a favourable result tonight, they could essentially clinch an appearance in the final.

"Villarreal are a young team, with players who have good touch with the ball. Barca need to focus on Villarreal's counterattacks. They defend well and get out quickly on the counter. Barca are in top form by they need to know how to stop that."

The first leg of the semi-final tie takes place at Camp Nou on Wednesday
